W.S. Wright is a building contractor working on pubs, bars, restaurants and commercial property across the South East. Two sides to the business: fit-out and refurbishment from our workshop in Rye, and a reactive maintenance team on call around the clock.

Shopfitting, refurbishment, joinery and building maintenance. We build the room — bar, seating, servery, finishes — and then look after it once it is trading.

Fit-out & refurbishment
Full venue refits and smaller schemes, run from survey to handover with our own joinery made in Rye. We work to the designer's drawings or develop the detail with you, and we plan around trading hours.

Remedial works picked up by inspections and risk assessments — fire doors, handrails, access, fixings and finishes.
Insurance reinstatement
Escape of water, impact damage, fire and flood. We work with loss adjusters and claims handlers from survey through to handover.

One contractor, most trades under one roof
Carpenters, decorators, electricians and labourers work from the same yard, so a job rarely waits on somebody else's diary. Specialist work goes to the same subcontractors we have used for years.
